I'm good! Quite dandy in fact. Just got a car and the weather is FINALLY starting to warm up which means I can go outside again! And go around my whole house again (no heat, space heaters in like... two rooms. Blech!)! It's exciting. Also excited about starting up an alternative modeling career and opening my own candy shop and starting roller derby in a year or so. Everything's going so WELL!

Ok, I guess you'll be busy in the near future then. Actually the candy shop idea was something I'd actually believed earlier you'd go for. Was there snow storms in Alabama too? I've always considered it a warm, typical down-south state. I read about the D.C storms and basically it looks like our big cities couple of days ago
This has been great winter, like the ones I remember from my childhood. Of course, places like D.C, London etc. that are not used to such weather every year were paralyzed by this "catastrophy". Simply, they are not prepared for things that don't happen so often. A friend of mine is in a animation school in Maidstone, UK. She told me how British freaked out the winter. Walking on a snowy street, her boyfriend was carefully taking one step at the time in some sort of "special" snow footwear he had just purchased, while my friend would be strutting ten meters in front in her heels. It feels just so strange to hear something like that

For some reason it just NEVER occurred to me until my room mate mentioned how I should own a candy store. I just stared and was like... "that makes perfect sense. Why have I never thought of that!?" Felt very silly, hahah. But yeah, Alabama rarely gets snow. We got a mild dusting this year but nothing big. Everyone always freaks out completely at the first flake. Much like your British friend 'cept we don't get THAT much. It's like that when southerners go up north. Yankees take days off when it gets to hot and southerners laugh their asses off and then we take snow days for "chance of snow" and they get their kicks. It's a balance, hahah.
